Summer in India

Some news about the weather sent to us by Mr. Pradhan, the Bursar of Camellia School.

“The repeated earthquakes have somewhat disturbed the peace and tranquillity. There were no major damages in Darjeeling,  but we are a bit shaken up every time there is a slight tremor. The weather swings from bright sunny days with a magnificent view of the mountains to foggy rainy days, to thunder and lightning with heavy downpours. A variety of nature which is so amazing and wonderful. The sub-continent is under a heat-wave. Fortunately, Darjeeling is a heaven. Thousands of tourists from all over are visiting Darjeeling everyday; Darjeeling looks lively.”
